Your records belong to your studio.Your studio records live in Cloudflare D1. Our current primary database is served from Sydney, Australia. The sandbox keeps separate, temporary records.
Australian privacy guidance, practical safeguards.The Australian Privacy Principles explain how organisations should handle personal information. APP 11 covers security: protecting records and retaining them only while needed. Your studio’s own obligations depend on its circumstances.
Local storage, a global network.Cloudflare runs the application across its global network. A Sydney database does not mean every part of processing stays in Australia. Database location hints are not residency guarantees.
Security is built into the code.Signed-in access, server-side permission checks and encrypted connections protect studio records. We do not claim certification to an Australian software standard; the safeguards and hosting details are stated here for you to assess.
Since that date an Australian business may not add a surcharge to a card payment, across debit, credit and prepaid cards, in person and online. The ban covers cards only: BPAY, direct debit and bank transfer are not covered.
If your fee schedule still passes card costs on to families, change it before your next invoices, and check that it does not describe direct debit and BPAY the same way.
Australian dollars, GST included. Starter is priced on the students you enrol. Studio and Enterprise are one flat price, however many students you have.

Connect a compatible AI client to Nixie’s authenticated API. Read your studio overview and incoming requests, then ask for a suggested recipient and the reasons behind that suggestion. Access stays within your studio.
Your assistant helps you review. Routing suggestions do not send messages or change a request automatically.

Nixie is Australian-based and built for Australian dance schools. Plans are priced in Australian dollars with GST included. Manage classes, families, staff and term fees around the way your studio works.

Nothing is locked to us. Your records are encrypted at rest on Australian infrastructure, and the export hands you the lot: the templates, the roll, the timetable and every invoice, in an open format that opens on an ordinary machine and imports into another system without a translation layer in the middle.
Any studio owner can run that export themselves, at any time, without telling us first and without paying for it. Closing an account takes a few minutes. Your data is yours, and it is easy to take with you.
